TrustInSoft is an international software publisher, with offices in Paris and San Francisco. TrustInSoft markets TrustInSoft Analyzer, a source code analyzer that analyzes C, C++ and Rust code. Recognized by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for leveraging advanced formal methods, TrustInSoft can mathematically guarantee analyzed software is free of critical runtime errors and vulnerabilities. TrustInSoft serves a diverse range of industries including automotive, aerospace, defense, consumer electronics, and IoT industries.
The opportunity
TrustInSoft is looking for a creative and analytical Marketing Director that lives and loves the cutting edge of growth marketing but also has the communication and brand front of mind. This person will be responsible for generating new opportunities to grow the business, enhancing brand visibility, managing corporate communications, supporting the sales team and the product strategy through market research, pricing, product management and product marketing.
We need a highly strategic thinker who is also not afraid about being hands-on. This is an extremely important hire for us who will lead company-wide growth initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to tailor marketing strategies to complement the organization’s objectives. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills to successfully provide guidance to your team, and you will have a vast knowledge of current marketing trends.
The role and responsibilities
- Develop & execute marketing strategy including company’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Demand Generation & Brand Awareness: Oversee campaigns, content marketing, events, public relations and website to drive pipeline growth.
- Manage outsourced SDR strategy: Define KPIs and messaging to ensure our partners are targeting the correct audience.
- Drive Product Management and Product Marketing Management: Implement the roadmap process to identify and select the roadmap priorities along with the R&D team. Define and deliver product launch activities and communication.
- Manage portfolio of tools to implement marketing actions (marketing CRM, cold emailing, webinar broadcasting, newsletter tool, visual creation tools etc).
- Conduct market research, stay abreast of competitor positioning and obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products.
- Contribute to the pricing and market positioning strategy
- Liaise with sales teams to align on objectives, support go-to-market plans, contribute to new business development initiatives, implement and monitor the associated metrics.
- Marketing Budget & ROI Measurement: Allocate resources effectively, track KPIs, and optimize spend for maximum impact.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and manage marketing teams, fostering creativity, accountability, and performance excellence.
The requirements and skills
- A Master's degree in marketing or a related field or an MBA may be highly desirable
- More than 5 years' proven experience in a marketing manager role.
- At least 3 years in a similar role in a B2B environment, working on technical software products, interfacing with technical audiences
- Deep knowledge of the Software development and testing markets
- Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms (e.g. SEO / SEM techniques…)
- Excellent analytical and collaborative skills.
- Creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Hands-on mindset: ready to deep-dive in the depth of the TrustInSoft solution and the martech tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
- Great leadership
